Ahh, the weekend – it’s the best time of the week. Hopefully, there will be two days of zoning out, getting lost in movies, and drinking beer- lots of beer.
As always, the Last Movie Outpost has a list of movies for your weekend viewing. We don’t want you using your brain too much.
- Superman – Movie – Gunn’s version from last year, and according to Stark, ‘still tremendous fun’. We know, we know, we’re planning an intervention.
- Breakdown – Movie – An underrated thriller with Kurt Russell.
- Into the Abyss – Movie – This was Wrenage’s watch, but it looks interesting.
- Biggles – Movie – Great 80s action, and I still love it today.
- Cape Fear – Movie – The remake by Scorsese, and sorry, but it’s not great. I mean, the performances are good, but the direction is terrible.
- Snatch – Movie – Still great, if you like dags!
- Ocean’s Eleven – Movie – The Clooney/Pitt version and still good fun, but then, I love a good heist film.

- Something Bad is Going to Happen – TV series – Produced by the Duffer (Stranger Things) Brothers. The first episode was good, but I haven’t caught up with the rest yet.
- Deep Water – Movie – Wrenage reviewed this, but I think he was generous, as I thought it was bloody awful.
- Rabbit Trap – Movie – Small horror, and not bad; again, Wrenage reviewed it.
- Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels – Movie – More great fun from Ritchie.
- Oldboy – Movie – The US remake, and not nearly as good as the original.
- Payback – Movie – Remake of Point Blank, and a good one; it’s brutal, all the way through.
- Widows Bay – TV series – Which is very good, by all accounts.
There you go, that’s your weekend sorted. What are you watching?
