Big claims from Sebastian Stan. Out doing publicity in Toronto on the festival circuit for Fjord, he was inevitably asked about his upcoming role in The Batman: Part II. He made a bold claim.
Speaking with Variety he was asked about his experiences making the movie, and he had this to say:
“Look, there’s no way to keep any secret anymore. What I’ll say is this: there’s no way people will fully grasp how this movie is until they see it. I go to set sometimes and I look around and I’m like, I think we’re making f–king “The Godfather Part Two.” I feel that highly about it.
Matt has spent three years working on it. There’s a lot of speculation about these roles, about what this movie is, but I think it’s going to be a good payoff – it’s really grounded and real, and that’s what I loved about it. You want to tease it a little, but we still have a long time.”
Big talk. Stan himself has been the centre of some role speculation. Originally thought to be playing Harvey Dent AKA Two-Face, then the chatter switched to Mr. Zsasz. Now everyone seems to think it is Two-Face again. Stan remains tight-lipped on this.

Location shooting in Liverpool and Glasgow is winding down as they relocate back to Warner Bros. at Leavesden Studios, just outside London.
Robert Pattinson, Scarlett Johannsen, Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, Sebastian Koch, Jayme Lawson, and Gil Perez-Abraham all co-star in The Batman: Part II, which is set to open on February 18th 2028.
