The CONFESSION BOOTH Judges Your Embarrassment

Related to sin is shame. That are like two grubby little bedfellows. And you know all about shame don’t you, you dirty little filthmongers? And you should be ashamed I have seen what you do when you think nobody is looking. So once again, it is I, the most reverend Reverend, who must facilitate a soul cleansing.

Confession

Believe me, I know all about shame and embarrassment, for it was my experience when I was caught hanging out the back of an unconvincing ladyboy in Patttaya by the Bishop hearing the shocking confessions of a young convert in a far-away and savage land.

We shall be sticking with this theme of embarrassment for this confessional.

To deal with the incoming tsunami of filth that is no doubt about to flow, like a release, we shall need to remain in the good graces of the goddess Gal Gadot, who seems to be on vacation and her clothes have fallen off again. Praise be!

Confession

Today’s confession will allow you to be unburdened, to let your souls be freed from a lifetime of movie-related embarrassment.

Which movie, or movies, did you used to love but, looking at them today, your enjoyment as a younger Outposter is simply embarrassing?

For example, from my time before I took up the frock to become your moral guardian, whether you liked it or not, there were the Police Academy movies.

Oh, how we laughed at the funny noise making man, enjoyed Mahoney’s sly schemes, and Tackleberry’s unique methods of dispute resolution, while admiring Callahan’s… form.

Little did we know that the first was nothing more than a sub-par attempt without the inventiveness of Animal House or the smut levels of Porky’s. And the least said about the sequels, the better.

Viewed through adult eyes, our childish enjoyment of them seems best forgotten.

It’s all really rather embarrassing now, isn’t it?

You are among friends. This is your safe space as an Outposter. No pointing and laughing, but you must confess. CONFESS!
