Showtime and A24 have released a trailer for The Curse starring Emma Stone and Nathan Fielder. The 10-episode series is a genre-bending series that explores how an alleged curse disturbs the relationship of a newly married couple as they try to conceive a child while co-starring in their new home improvement show.
In the trailer you’ll see Stone tell the viewers:
“This isn’t your typical, home-flipping show. My homes are reflecting the local communities. And we’re husband and wife. So what could go wrong?”
We then see Fielder give a local kid $100 to prove they are all about giving to the community. However, as soon as the cameras stop rolling he wants his money back. A kafuffle breaks out and the little girl ominously puts a curse on Fielder. As you would expect, things turn to shit soon after.
The series was co-created by Fielder and Benny Safdie, who’s also in the show. Fielder also serves as a director with Emma Stone as an executive producer. Unfortunately Outposters, that is all I have about this show, everything else is being kept under wraps. So I bid thee farewell and let the trailer take over from here.
The Curse is released on 10th November on Paramount+.
