One month to go until Marvel’s big summer release, and they have dropped the third and final trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
This one shows us more story and more line delivery. We also get to see Reed do some stretching, and hear more about Galactus, while getting more of a look at this future-retro 1960s Kirby-inspired world they live in.
Known as Marvel’s First Family, the Fantastic Four are Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach).
They must defend Earth from a ravenous space entity called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner) with the Earth (their Earth, an Earth) marked for consumption by Galactus.
The film’s cast also includes Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, and Natasha Lyonne. It was directed by Matt Shakman from a script by Jeff Kaplan, Ian Springer, Josh Friedman, Cameron Squires, Eric Pearson, and Peter Cameron.
Marvel boss Kevin Feige promised that this movie will tie directly into Avengers: Doomsday, which is currently shooting in London.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is slated to hit cinemas July 25th.
