Hello, dear Outposters, it is time for us to gather in the hallowed halls, once again, for a great debate. A mild disagreement with friends can broaden the mind, change minds, and at the very least, make you grind your teeth in mild annoyance as you log in to the Last Movie Outpost.

So, beloved Outposter, what is this great debate about this time around?
As we know, movies can entertain, thrill, and scare us. They can make us laugh, cry, or feel a little horny. Movies can deal with all sorts of subjects, from political thrillers to fantasy adventures. Sometimes, they even seem to foretell the future.
Back to the Future Part 2 was on TV the other day, and I sat and watched it again. In the original movie, Marty had to get back to the future from 1955. In Part 2, he went 30 years into the future, to the year 2015! There were flying cars, hoverboards, and hydrating pizzas. There were many predictions about the future, which we are all still waiting for 10 years after 2015.
It got me thinking about a debate. The question this time is:
Which movie do you think predicted the future the best?
Do you think Total Recall had certain things right? Are we finally going to reach the level of Star Trek? Will your life turn into The Road? Will we all fall in love with A.I., like in Her?
How do we know we aren’t living in The Matrix? Landline phones have been on the decline since 1999, like the machines want to cut all hard links out of here!
Join the great debate and tell us which movies you think got the details right? And maybe which ones you are scared might have got it right?
