I’ve been lamenting the death of the movie star, but damn Glen Powell might be a contender. He was the best thing in Twisters, completely overshadowing his co-star. Who looked to be about 12 years old. Seriously, can’t we just have women instead of plastic ones that look underaged?
Anyhow his next project just released the trailer. The Running Man was a great movie back in 1987 but admittedly doesn’t follow the book very well. Or so I’ve heard, I haven’t read it and given Stephen King is insufferable these days, I have no real compulsion to go back and read his older stuff. But I hear that the novel was excellent and this movie follows it much more faithfully.
So Outposters, what’s the verdict? Head to the theater or wait for streaming or bother at all?
