We recently showed you some photos from the set of the new Fantastic Four movie. It was at good old Pinewood Studios and they did look impressive.
There is now a new photo of The Thing getting into makeup.
The Thing, or Ben Grimm, is being played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach. He’s recently been in The Bear and episodes of Andor, one of the better Disney Star Wars entries.
You know the rest of the cast, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm. There is still no news on the story yet. If this will be another origin story or just pick up as if we know what’s going on.
I’m pretty sure we all do know what’s going on, this will be the 27th time we’ve had a Fantastic Four. You had the one from 2005, with Ioan Gruffudd, Chris Evans, Jessica Alba and Michael Chiklis.
That one got a sequel (to quote Disney Star Wars) ‘somehow’. Then there was a reboot in 2015 with, umm, actors. I can’t be bothered to list them, as it was an instantly forgettable movie.
We all know though, the greatest version of Fantastic Four is the Roger Corman-produced entry, which never really saw the light of day, unless you take to the high seas. It starred Alex Hyde-White, Jay Underwood, Rebecca Staab and Michael Bailey Smith.
