The Game Of Thrones horse will continue to be flogged, even as another book fails to materialise. You know what? We will all continue to watch it, too. After numerous images and a few small teasing clips, the trailer has officially landed from HBO for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
The series is adapted from George R.R. Martin’s novella The Hedge Knight, so we know that it is set a century before the events of Game of Thrones and follows a naïve but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg, as they roam Westeros.
The Targaryens are still on the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon still lingers. The series is said to be slightly more comedic, and it has been confirmed that there will be no magic on display in the show.
House Tyrell will feature, as the trailer shows Steve Wall as Lord Leo “Longthorn” Tyrell.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will premiere on January 18th, while a new season of House Of The Dragon is in production.
