Upcoming high concept survival thriller Whalefall has a third trailer.
The 20th Century Studios project follows Jay Gardiner (Austin Abrams) who, following the death of his father (Josh Brolin), goes diving off the central Coast of California in search of his remains, but is unexpectedly swallowed by a massive sperm whale.
While trapped inside its belly with only one hour of oxygen left, Jay comes to realise that the hard-earned lessons his father imparted may be the key to his escape.
Elisabeth Shue, John Ortiz, Jane Levy and Emily Rudd co-star. Whalefall is based on the book by Daniel Kraus.
It is directed by the writer of Underwater, Brian Duffield. He recently directed the alien invasion thriller No One Will Save You.
Whalefall will open in cinemas on October 16th.
