2026 Television Emmy Winners

Is it awards season already? It seems like only last week that summer was here! The 78th Emmy Awards have been announced and the big winner at the Television Academy was Apple TV’s Widow’s Bay.

Widow’s Bay hoovered up almost every award in its nominated categories including Best Comedy Series, Best Actor (Matthew Rhys), Supporting Actor (Stephen Root), Supporting Actress (Kate O’Flynn), Guest Actress (Betty Gilpin), Best Writing & Best Direction.

Elsewhere, The Pitt took Best Drama Series and Best Actor in a Drama for Noah Wyle.

Some favorites failed to garner any awards, including Euphoria, and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
