The 2025 SAG Award Winners Are…

Seen as the ultimate Oscars bellwether, coming just before the Oscars ceremony, the SAG Awards always garner a lot of interest. It is also easy to overlook the significant proportion of the awards that is dedicated to television efforts.

Last year’s big winner, Oppenheimer, went on to dominate the Oscars. This year there was less of a clear-cut frontrunner with awards spread out across all of the expected contenders. Does this mean the Oscars are harder to call?

On TV, Shōgun was a clear winner with four awards.
