Good Monday morning to all you beautiful Outposters. Gosh, you’re looking good this morning. That sleepy eye booger and the leftover food in your teeth really make your eyes pop. As you head off to work, rest assured that we at the Last Movie Outpost want you to have a good Monday.

The Coffee Table
I heard The Coffee Table was messed up, like in a ‘if Monday was a movie’ type way. It was a strange one, as I thought it was a horror, but it was more of a deep thriller with very dark comedy.
To be fair, there aren’t many movies that deal with a husband buying a hideous coffee table against his wife’s wishes, which he then accidentally drops the newborn baby on and severs its head off. The husband then tries to hide it all from his wife and guests at an afternoon lunch.
It was one of the most tense movies I’ve seen in a while. It’s played out really seriously, and every time someone would go near the baby’s room, where it was lying headless, weirdly, you really felt for the husband as he tried to stop them from going in. Just to add to his issues, the 13-year-old from the flat above was in ‘love’ with him. She was planning to blackmail him and tell his wife about something that never happened. Talk about having a bad day.
