Monday is back, and we’re ready for it. I’m wearing a Vest of Immortality, the Sandles of Shift Wittedness, and I have the Staff of Ra, which is just the right length to poke people from a distance. So bring it on Monday, give us your best shot!

The Smashing Machine
The Smashing Machine, starring Dwayne Johnson (not The Rock), is on VoD, so I gave that a try. I was hoping it was going to be good, and it was. The style was so much like a documentary, I genuinely thought I was watching one in some places. I know nothing about Mark Kerr, whom the biopic was about, but Johnson was really good in this. I don’t want to say I was shocked, but he really pulled away from The Rock and gave an incredible performance.
I’m not usually into biopics, I only watched it to see what Johnson was going to be like, but I ended up really loving the movie. I also liked how it was about the more interesting character of the story, but not the main focus. I can’t say too much without giving away the ending, but it was good.
