It’s another manic Monday. I say manic, chances are you are slowly crawling into work, looking to hide from your boss and a place to hide until Friday. The only one good thing about Monday is that there are Movie Memes from the Last Movie Outpost; we are literally lifesavers!
What do you have to moan about this Monday?
Personally, I sat through One Battle After Another. You have Paul Thomas Anderson and Leonardo DiCaprio, what could go wrong? Well, the script for starters. The overall movie was firstly far too long, but also just, well, boring. I found I wasn’t engaging with any of the characters in the movie at all. DiCaprio was kind of a prick, Sean Penn was just annoying, but the main issue was Teyana Taylor.
Taylor played DiCaprio’s wife, and she was not just annoying, but left more like sandpaper toilet paper. She also ‘reverse rapes’ Penn’s character. Yeah, I don’t understand that either. However, I can understand her having to hold a gun to a guy’s head for that kind of thing.
Also, One Battle After Another is very political, and it just wasn’t my cuppa tea. Also, did I mention is was far too long?
Anyways, that’s my moan for Monday, what do you need to moan about? Did you see something good? A rarity these days.
