Hello Weekend, we all just wanted to say, we love you! Well, unless you’re someone who has to work over the weekend, then it’s just more work. For those of us who don’t work, it’s a chance to kick back, have some beers, and watch some movies.
What are you planning to watch this weekend? If you can’t decide between The Wrecking Crew or Mona Lisa Smile, the Last Movie Outpost has some suggestions for you.
- Stranger Than Fiction – Movie – The one where Will Ferrell has his life narrated.
- End of Days – Movie – An underrated action flic with Arnie and the late Udo Kier.
- The Skull – Movie – A classic British horror, with Cushing and Lee. I say classic, it was mildly entertaining.
- Children of the Damned (1964) – Movie – Sequel to Village of the Damned and not worth it.
- Bugonia – Movie – An interesting movie that keeps you guessing, I rather liked it.

- I Swear – Movie – About a man with Tourette’s, based on a true story, but also pretty funny.
- Wildcat – Movie – Kate Winslett is having a series of ‘action’ movies, this is another one and instantly forgettable.
- A Fish Called Wanda – Movie – A great movie, but sadly stars Jamie Lee Curtis.
- Predator: Badlands – Movie – Which is now on streaming and turns Predator on its head.
- Sopranos – TV Series – Still brilliant TV.
- The Omen – Movie – The newest one and not worth it, just watch the original.
- Fierce Creatures – Movie – The follow-up to Wanda, and good, but not as good as Wanda.
So, there you go, something for the weekend. On streaming is The Housemaid with Sweeney and Seyfried, which I’m halfway through. I will get around to reviewing it, but so far, so good.
Anything there grab your attention? Any suggestions of your own?
