The Batman: Part II is finally nearing production and is set to shoot this month in the UK. As that start date draws ever closer, camera tests have started. Director Matt Reeves has shared some images from his camera test, and in the process, confirmed something about the film.
We will get to see Gotham City in the depths of winter.
The shots show the Batmobile racing through a snowstorm. The first movie was set around Halloween. Does this mean that The Batman: Part II carries on directly where Penguin left off, which followed The Batman directly.

Robert Pattinson reprises his role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. Also back are Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, Colin Farrell as Oz ‘The Penguin’ Cobb, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Barry Keoghan is rumored to reappear as The Joker, only hinted at in the last movie.
New joiners are Sebastian Stan as D.A. Harvey Dent, Charles Dance as his father, Christopher Dent, and Scarlett Johansson as his wife, Gilda.
Those who have seen the script confirm that this is shaping up to be another very different Batman movie.
