So sorry about the quiet this weekend, fellow Outposters. Stark has called in sick, which means he’s at the beach. And everyone else is either in the hospital, prison or at a pride march of some sort; well, that’s what I imagine. That will not stop our confession, though.

Gather, dear brothers, and confess your sins. It’s good for the soul, it’s good for your well-being, and it’s good for us all to have a laugh at you. You know that the Goddess Gadot will be pleased, oh very, very pleased.
Let’s go back to a more innocent age, a time when you thought some movies were real. Growing up, I saw Alien when I was about 7, and I didn’t sleep for a week. I thought the xenomorph was real, and it was going to get me at any moment. Going from a man into a boy, things in me started to change; I got hair in weird places, my voice broke, and I started to notice girls.
One of my first movie crushes was Jennifer Connelly in Labyrinth. I loved her English accent, and she was the proper girl-next-door type. Young me liked her, and I watched that movie just for her.
So, for the confession this week, take yourself back to a younger you, and ask yourself:
Who was your first movie crush?
What movie did you watch, just because there was someone cute in it? Let’s face it, we’ve all seen movies just because of the totty in it. The great thing about Jeniffer is that she’s aged like a fine wine and is still stunning.

Tell us your confession, and remind us of how innocent and joyful movies used to be, without getting all weird about it.
