In case you missed it, Heidi Klum did her usual Halloween extravagance this year, turning up to her own party dressed as a severed hand.
Why we, at the Outpost, care is because the costume was made by Mike Marino’s Prosthetic Renaissance workshop, and they are also working on The Batman: Part II.
In a photo posted on Reddit (then picked up by The Batman Saga twitter account and spread by CBM) that looked into the construction of Klum’s hand, they may have accidentally let slip who the villains are in the new Batman movie, and who is playing one of them.
There has been speculation since the first movie that the mysterious power in Gotham, hinted at as being connected to Thomas Wayne, is the Court of Owls.
Then it was an article of faith that Sebastian Stan was playing Harvey Dent / Two Face. Then somebody mentioned Victor Zsasz.
It seems all will be present, but Dent will not be Stan.
The photo showed heads in the background labelled as Zsasz and Owl 3, alongside Brian Tyree Henry’s head as Harvey Dent, but with a new mouth, plus a second head mould showing serious disfigurement.
So will Dent’s fate be linked to the Court of Owls? Will Zsasz be working for them?
Steven Soderbergh is helping Reeves finish shooting his film, which wraps principle photography soon.
