Hit-Man

HIT MAN Trailer

Netflix has finally released the full trailer for Hit Man starring Glen Powell.

Powell is hot shit right now and has come a long way since being kidnapped by Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. Arguably his big break came as Hangman in Top Gun: Maverick, to which they are penning (in my opinion) an ill-advised sequel.

And Glen has been receiving plenty of plaudits for Anyone But You which he stars alongside Sydney Sweeney and her magical breasts. He is also starring in the upcoming Twisters, which sadly is a movie about the weather and not The Titty Twister from From Dusk Till Dawn… hold up, I seem to have tits on the brain this morning! Moving swiftly on.

He Aint No Hit Man

Now, don’t get your hopes up that this is going to be some gun-toting root-em-shoot-em like John Wick, etc. Actually, I take that back, this is a good thing.

Hit Man is based on an article in Texas Monthly magazine from 2001 of the same name by Skip Hollandsworth. Hit Man follows a Houston police associate (Powell) who disguises himself as a professional hitman in order to catch people on a wire admitting that they want to kill someone, whether it’s their spouse, their boss, or an ex-business partner, you get the drift.

Powell’s “Hit Man” gets invested in saving one woman (Adria Arjona) from an abusive relationship, and crazy shenanigans ensue. Remarkably, this is actually inspired by a true story!

Hit Man releases on Netflix on 7th June.
