Cut-off

Jonah Hill’s Latest Deemed Unreleasable?

Jonah Hill is literally half the man he used to be. The staggering weight loss also came with a switch into directing. It is not going well. His last movie was Outcome, starring Keanu Reeves, which released back in April on Apple TV and did not receive good reviews. Now, his new directorial effort – Cut Off – has been deemed unreleasable by the studio, according to Puck News.

Cut Off was due out next month, but it has been pulled from schedules, and no marketing has taken place. No new date has been set.

Hill-Cut-off

Cut Off stars Hill and Kristen Wiig as wealthy mid-40s siblings who suddenly find themselves cut off from the financial support of their rich parents. This forces them to navigate adult life on their own financially for the first time.

Co-stars include Bette Midler, Nathan Lane, Adriana Barraza, Camila Cabello, and Chelsea Peretti.

Test screenings were said to be a bust, forcing Warner Bros. to park the movie and will only decide what to do with it once the new leadership comes in from Paramount Skydance.
