MAN OF TOMORROW Wraps With Speculation

Principal photography has wrapped on Superman sequel Man Of Tomorrow. DC Studios co-chief and director of this movie, James Gunn, confirmed this in a Threads post yesterday, saying:

“That’s a wrap on principal photography for Man of Tomorrow. Truly a joyful experience and I have immense gratitude to my cast and crew.”

As part of his posts on the subject, he shared a picture of Nicholas Hoult swimming in a lake for some of the final scenes. This has immediately caused speculation online that Luthor will end up in Salvation, the forested wilderness prison dimension seen in the conclusion of the second season of Peacemaker.

Man-of-Tomorrow

Lex was responsible for the ability of the US Government to access this area in Peacemaker, and it is where the titular character was stranded at the end of the series.

David Corenswet returns as Clark Kent / Superman alongside Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. Lars Eidinger will play villain Brainiac.

Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane), Skyler Gisondo (Jimmy Olsen), Neva Howell (Martha Kent) Sara Sampaio (Eve Teschmacher), Isabela Merced (Hawkgirl), Nathan Fillion (Guy Gardner), Edi Gathegi (Mister Terrific), Frank Grillo (Rick Flagg Sr.), and Milly Alcock (Supergirl) also return, joined by Aaron Pierre as John Stewart, Xolo Maridueña as Blue Beetle, Matthew Lillard, Andre Royo, and Sinqua Walls.

Adria Arjona takes on a mystery role. Speculation is that it is Wonder Woman.

We will find out on July 9th 2027 when Man Of Tomorrow is released in theaters.
