Good Monday morning, everyone. I hope you’re well and looking forward to another week at work? Who am I kidding? No one looks forward to work- well, maybe male porn stars or guys who work in construction and knock down huge buildings.
As always, the good thing about Mondays is the memes. Seriously, what other website gives you this every Monday? None that I know of.
Firstly, let’s have a moan about what you watched over the weekend. I had Saturday night to myself, so I watched Troll (1988). It was terrible, but so bad that it was stupidly entertaining. I mean, nothing made any sense; it was one of those movies that I think was pitched with a lot of ‘white nose candy’.
I heard the second one was one of the worst movies ever made, so of course, I have to see it.
My moan is about how you only tend to see nonsensical movies like this via indie movies these days. All big production companies have to have a reason to make a movie. You don’t have companies like Cannon anymore; they would just take a pitch, throw money at it and make it. Doesn’t matter how stupid the idea is, like Troll (which I know wasn’t Cannon), but no big companies would make something like that today. God bless the indie movie makers.
