The weekend is here, and it’s time to watch some movies and TV shows. You could spend 6 hours scrolling through Netflix, trying to find something to watch. It’s much better to have the Last Movie Outpost give you some suggestions for a weekend watch.
Get you butt in your ass grove on the sofa and check out some movies and shows for this weekend.
- Ash – Movie – Eliza Gonzalez space horror, it was average, nothing to write home about.
- Havoc – Movie – We have reviewed it here.
- Neighbourhood Watch – Movie – Jack Quaid and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. It was not good.
- Evolution – Movie – This is still stupidly good fun, Orlando Jones is comedy gold in this.
- Invaders from Mars – Movie – The 80s version and great sci-fi fun.
- Logan’s Run – Movie – Still a great movie, with some interesting themes and takes, and Jenny Agutter.
- Inferno – Movie – From Argento, it’s neither good or bad, it’s Italian horror.
- Drop – Movie – New movie, with the stupidiest premise I’ve seen in a while, give it a miss.
- Alien from the Deep – Movie – 80s horror, which was disappointing that the alien was only in the last 20 minutes.
- Death of a Unicorn – Movie – See one of the Outposters’ review.
- The Blackcoat’s Daughter – Movie – From Osgood Perkins, and a decent horror.
- Freaky Tales – Movie – A mixed bag, but mostly bad. Avoid it to avoid Pedro Pascal.
- Star Wars Prequels – Movies – Terrible stories, but still feels like Star Wars.
- Screamboat – Movie – One of the ‘Steamboat Willy is public domain horror movies’ and stupid fun.
- Eden Log – Movie – Very odd art house movie, but interesting.
- Equilibrium – Movie – This is still a good watch, Gun-Fu baby!
That should give you something for the weekend to watch.
Stark has been loving Andor, but then, so has the Drinker. I have tried it again, and I have to admit some of it is good, but it’s not that great to me. Each to their own and all that. Stark is going to do a full review now that the season is over.
What are you watching over the weekend? Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue? Don’t answer the ‘blue’ bit.
