It’s the weekend, time to party! And by ‘party’, I mean sit yourself on the sofa and watch movies. The wife asked me what my wildest fantasy was the other day. I told her a solid 12 hours of sleep and a buffet breakfast.
With the weekend looming, how about something to watch? The Last Movie Outpost has you covered. Here is a list of movies, old and new, that you might want to check out. We’re the only website on the internet that does this, probably, I’m too lazy to check.
- Hannibal – TV series – Made Wrenage feel sick, either from boredom or the effects.
- They Look Like People – Movie – This was a very clever and understated UFO movie. Worth a watch.
- The Accountant 2 – Movie – A cash-in on the first one, with a story that’s all over the place.
- The Surfer – Movie – With Nick Cage, and interesting, see our review.
- Samsara – Movie – Simply visuals and music from around the world, and stunningly beautiful.
- Blow Up – Movie – See our review.
- Hurry Up Tomorrow – Movie – New psychedelic thriller. It’s like a Panos Cosmatos movie, but lame.
- Gunslingers – Movie – Western with Nick Cage, and terrible.
- Clown in a Cornfield – Movie – A very lame version of Hot Fuzz.
- Friendship – Movie – Paul Rudd and Tim Robinson, see our review.
- For a Few Dollars More – Movie – Classic Clint and still brilliant.
Gunslingers was pretty bad, over-the-top CG blood with every gun wound. I love how Cage decided to go with a raspy voice and stupid glasses. I’m sure this pee’d everyone off, but it’s Cage, they paid for him, so just had to run with it.
There you go, that’s your weekend sorted out, if you can’t find something in there to watch, then you’re just ungrateful. What are you watching over this weekend?
