FRIDAY! The start of the weekend, the start of a couple of days of nothingness. You can get your ass on the sofa, relax and watch some movies. Instead of scrolling through movies on your streaming service, the Last Movie Outpost has some suggestions for you, because we love you, just not like that.
- The Dresden Sun – Movie – New sci-fi with Christina Ricci and just awful.
- Conspiracy Theory – Movie – Mel Gibson is nuts, but it gets some things right, and it’s still a good.
- Gattaca – Movie – Ethan Hawk fakes his way into the space program, and a very good sci-fi thriller.
- Tumbbad – Movie – An Asian horror, and rather well done, with a great story in it.
- Scream 7 – Movie – More churned out slop from Hollywood. Personally, not a fan of any of these sequels.
- MI: Rogue Nation – Movie – It’s the MI movie where Tom runs a lot.
- Project Hail Mary – Movie – This was back to basics and one of the best sci-fi movies in a while.
- Lars and the Real Girl – Movie – Ryan Gosling falls in love with a rubber doll. I was surprised at how well the movie played out.
- Toy Story – Movie – Still just a great family movie, you’ve got a friend in me.
- Blade Runner – Movie – The final cut version, and again, one of the best sci-fi movies ever.
- One Piece – TV Series – It’s the live-action version, and rather good by all accounts.
- Send Help – Movie – Sam Raimi back on form and having fun in this horror comedy.
- Mercy – Movie – Chris Pratt sat in a chair, talking to Rebecca Furguson. I wasn’t a fan.
