Get the beers in, get the BBQ on (outside) and park yourself on the sofa for the weekend. I would say put a bucket by the sofa, so you don’t have to get up. However, when I did this, I kept putting my foot in it.
With the weekend here, how about some watching suggestions? Here are a few, because we love you.
- Sharknado – Movie – Yes, it spawned off loads of stupid shark movies, but I have to say it, it’s stupidly entertaining.
- Diabolic – Indie Movie – Not bad for an indie flick.
- Possessor – Movie – This is one messed up movie; if you have seen it, you know why.
- The Music Man – Movie – Bright, colourful, and vastly entertaining; they really don’t make them like this anymore. I love this song!
- Balls Up – Movie – New one with Mark Wahlberg and Paul Walter, and again, stupidly entertaining.
- The Green Mile – Movie – I’m not crying, I just have something in my eye.
- Star Wars – Movie – Not bad, a bit woke, and the characters are instantly forgettable.
- Damnation Alley – Movie – The BEST movie of 1977.
- Empire Strikes Back – Movie – I had to, as I saw the first one.
- Ready or Not 2 – Movie – Good fun; if you liked the first one, it’s more of the same.
- Starship Troopers – Movie – Again, hugely entertaining.
- Deep Water – Movie – Another shark movie shot in a pool and green screen.
- The Thing – Movie – Basically aliens on ice.
- Pushing Tin – Movie – I’ve not seen this; it needs to go on the list.
- Ready Player One – Movie – A great idea, but the whole ‘set in a CG universe’ makes it lifeless.
