What is it with shark movies? So very many of them So few actually any good. Is it really that hard?
It would appear so. Will The Devil’s Mouth be an improvement over the recent Chum? Who knows. I would guess it will probably join the pile of achingly average shark movies that grows yearly.
This latest effort is from Amazon MGM for Prime Video and stars Kathryn Newton and Lana Condor. Yeah, me neither.
It follows five friends exploring The Devil’s Mouth cave system in Thailand for one last adventure before life in the real world begins – AKA adulthood.

They soon discover that there is something in the water down there.
