STRANGE NEW WORLDS Season 3 Trailer

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds seems to get plaudits from some fans for being the most “Trek” of Nu-Trek. Considering the main competition was Star Trek: Section 31 and Discovery 90210 Junior High: In Space, this may be damning it with faint praise. It was also responsible for that musical episode.

Still, it is getting a third season, and Paramount+ has released the full trailer. The season will be 10 episodes long. It will pick up where season 2 left off, following the Gorn situation.

The blurb with the trailer release promises:

“…faith, duty, romance, comedy, and mystery with varying genres never before seen on any other Star Trek.”

Guest stars this season will include Rhys Darby, Patton Oswalt, Cillian O’Sullivan, and Melanie Scrofano. The core cast of Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun, Martin Quinn, Carol Kane, and Paul Wesley all return.

Trek

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 3 arrives on July 17th with a two-episode drop, and then a weekly release after that.

Meanwhile, Star Trek Academy has wrapped and is in post-production ahead of a 2026 release.
