Godzilla Minus Zero
Godzilla Minus One achieved giant lizard-sized popularity. Made on a modest $15 million budget that shamed Hollywood, it grossed over $100 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing Japanese Godzilla film. Most everyone seemed to like it and praised it for its post-war world-building and visual effects.
This success guaranteed a sequel…if Godzilla has sequels. There are so many Godzilla movies they transcend the concept of sequels, but we will allow it since this is a continuation of the last film. Director Takashi Yamazaki returns. The movie is slated for a November 2026 release.
