He’s a man with a particular set of skills. They should have left him alone. Now, Jason Statham will keep bees, punch people, and growl in an accent that isn’t quite American and isn’t quite South London. The Beekeeper is back!
Amazon MGM Studios has premiered a teaser trailer for The Beekeeper 2. The sequel lands three years to the day since the original, over the Martin Luther King holiday weekend. He had a dream. Statham has a scowl, and an easily repeatable movie template.

David Ayer directed the first movie, but this time around Timo Tjahjanto (Nobody 2) is in the big chair. Original writer Kurt Wimmer returns.
The Beekeeper 2 follows Adam Clay, a former government assassin who came out of retirement on a quest for vengeance against the online scammers that caused the suicide of his friend. Now a wanted man, he is drawn back into the game when he has to save the President of the United States from her own organization, the Beekeepers, who have gone rogue.
They really should have left him alone.
Jeremy Irons returns as former CIA director Wallace Westwyld, Emmy Raver-Lampman and Bobby Naderi as the FBI agents who know all about Clay, and Jemma Redgrave as U.S. President Jessica Danforth.
Pom Klementieff, Adam Copeland, and Yara Shahidi join in the punchy, shooty, explodey fun.
The Beekeeper 2 opens in cinemas on January 15th.
