It seems like it has been a while. The Boys stumbled in season 2, then found its footing again in Season 3, but then vanished from screens as animated anthologies and spin-offs diluted the brand. Hollywood will never learn.
After a small tease last year, Amazon is now ready to fully reveal the fourth season of The Boys. The official full trailer has landed.
Season 4 will find the world facing more peril, as Neuman closes in on the Oval Office, aided and abetted by an increasingly psychopathic Homelander. Butcher has only months left to live after abusing the V24 serum.
Soldier Boy is in government custody and Maeve is missing, presumed dead. The Boys, fed up with Butcher’s lies, are no longer under his leadership. They will all have to find a way to work together as the threats increase.
Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Cameron Crovetti all return. Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan are new joiners for this run.
Production on a fifth season is currently underway.
