It’s the weekend and you’re trying to avoid your family, we get it. Why not “do some work’ in the office”, by which we mean go online and join in the Last Movie Outpost debate for the weekend.
I’ll admit, I love seeing some of the discussions we have. Different views and opinions and I love seeing how wrong most of you are, pretty much all the time. It gives me a sense of superiority… I kid, I kid.
Let us all gather in the halls for this week’s debate, which is all about survival.
Zombies Everywhere
I watched World War Z this week and I wondered how I would do if I were in that movie. You tend to put yourself in the shoes of the protagonist and hope you will survive. I did say to the missus that I would have just given up and let them bite me.
In all movies about zombies or monsters, everyone wants to make it to the end. Surely there must be some people who just want to give up? Anyway, back to the debate.
It got me thinking, that when it comes to zombies, they have evolved over time. When Night of the Living Dead (1968) came out, they were very slow, mildly scary, and probably easy to escape.
I think it was the remake of Dawn of the Dead, where the zombies became fast. 28 Days Later did it first but some consider that they are not zombies. But basically, zombies changed for the worst. The fast, never give up type of zombies were really scary.
Getting stuck in the 1978 Dawn of the Dead wouldn’t be too bad. You hide out in a shopping mall and all the zombies do is shuffle about. In Shaun of the Dead, if you just act like a zombie, you can easily get away.

What zombie movie would be the worst to be stuck in?
There are lots of zombie movies, but which one would be the worst to be stuck in? Keep in mind who you are stuck with as well, that makes a big difference. You could be stuck with me!
