You’ve got to love Nicholas Cage. Nobody quite… commits like him! Here he is, committing again, in Best Pancakes In The County. IFC Films has premiered the trailer for this, Ken Sanzel’s new crime thriller co-starring Justin Long, Shelley Hennig, Lauren German, and Ravi Patel.
Over the course of one explosive night, an unassuming small-town diner in Arkansas becomes the epicenter of a deadly, high-stakes standoff involving rogue federal agents. The chaos erupts after a career criminal and fast-talking con man nicknamed The S.O.B. (Cage) returns to the remote diner following a botched heist.
The prize? An old hard drive that appears to contain some of the CIA’s dirty laundry.
The cast is rounded out by Brandon Mychal Smith, Kelly Greyson, Jaylen Moore, and Michael Sirow.
Eduard Osipov, Raja Collins, Eric Brenner, Niko Fomenko, Gary Preisler, and R. Wesley Sierk III produce. Cage is having a renaissance after years of paying his tax bill. He will soon be seen in Madden, Fortitude, and the Lords of War sequel.
Best Pancakes In The County opens in select theaters and via digital platforms on November 20th.
