Digger sees Tom Cruise back in the saddle again with what appears to be an aged, Texan, Less Grossman-type character.
The plot of Digger is thus:
The most powerful man in the world embarks on a frantic mission to prove he is humanity’s savior before the disaster he’s unleashed destroys everything.
If there is one man to play the most powerful man in the world, surely that is Tom Cruise. #No phone. #A-game.

Cruise stars alongside Riz Ahmed (who strives to make sure Muslims are never portrayed as negative stereotypes), John Goodman (who seems to be hitting the Ozempic hard), Sandra Hüller (I don’t trust that umlat) and Jesse Plemons (who just wants to protect the profitability of the Frito Lay company). Alejandro Iñárritu (Birdman) writes and directs.
