Trailer: Pattinson Is Going PRIMETIME

Robert Pattinson seems to work really hard in movies, probably trying to make people forget he was in Twilight. He is starring in Primetime.

I only have a vague knowledge of Chris Hansen of Dateline NBC, but I can see what Primetime is all about. Pattinson takes on the role of Hansen as:

In 2006, To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen sets out to make television history.

Primetime stars Pattinson, Merritt Weaver, Anna Faris, Skyler Gisondo, Bokeem Woodbine, Tony Revolori, Alex Winter, and Jonathan Lipnicki. Lipnicki was the kid from Jerry Maguire; man, they grow up so fast.

Pattinson is producing the movie, alongside the likes of Ari Aster. Lance Oppenheim directs the movie, and credits growing up in Florida as being an ‘insane place’, which inspired his documentary filmmaking.

The trailer certainly looks like it gets trippy in places, but then, it’s dealing with one of those subjects. There have been lots of controversial shows that try to keep the audience watching. As I said, I’ve never seen To Catch a Predator, but I know it’s not about Arnie and the gang chasing an alien in the woods.

Primetime is having its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival, then hits theatres on 25th Sept.
