Go sports! That’s what I hear people say when they watch sports. One person who was very good at sports was coach John Madden. A new biopic is on the way, and Nick Cage has a preview for us.
It’s funny how he calls it ‘football’, where there is very little contact between a foot and a ball. We Brits call football football, because there is a lot of contact between the foot and the ball. Madden’s sport should be called Hand Egg.
Where was I? Oh yes, Cage is playing the legendary hand egg coach John Madden. The story is about:
John Madden’s remarkable journey-from a Super Bowl-winning partnership with Al Davis and the Raiders, to creating Madden NFL, and becoming one of the most iconic voices in football history.
I’m not into sport, but the movie looks interesting. I mean, it’s Cage; it’s worth a watch just for him.
Madden stars Cage, Christian Bale, Kathryn Hahn, Sienna Miller, Derrick Goodman Jr., Matt Medrano, and Cuck Watkins. David O. Russell directs and co-writes alongside Cambron Clark.
Russel and Bale have worked together a few times, in movies like The Fighter, American Hustle, and Amsterdam. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of performance he gets out of Cage.
Madden will be on Prime Video on 18th Nov. Go Hand Egg!
