Ahh, to be a Snyderboy. No matter what movie he’s going to make, it’s going to be the bEsTeSt ThInG eVeR! Here is the new trailer for The Last Photograph.
Looks artsy, doesn’t it? I see they are OK with nudity on YouTube these days. I guess if it’s integral to the story, it’s fine.
The Last Photograph stars Stuart Martin, Fra Fee, Jackie Kay, Costanza Andrade, Marlon Moreno, and Carolina Henao. Snyder is the director and writer. Uh oh. The story is:
An ex-DEA agent searches South American mountains for his murdered diplomat siblings’ children, aided by a junkie photographer who saw the killers, confronting past demons as reality blurs in remote wilderness.
Am I being a bit harsh on Snyder and his fanboys? I mean, at least this looks like an original IP, and not just a remake of Bugs, like Rebel Moon was. Then again, there is much of the story being given away in the trailer.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll carry on saying it, but Snyder makes a good-looking movie, but his writing is just terrible. He’s the perfect example of ‘style over substance’. I get the impression that his fanboys think that shallow (thank you for the correct) depth of field means he’s an ‘artist’.
I also get the impression that people like that would get entertained by a balloon on the end of a stick.
The Last Photograph is released in 2027; not sure when at the moment.
