Indie Trailer: 213 BONES

Another indie movie, another horror, but 213 Bones looks a little different. It looks more like a murder mystery.

Yes, I know technically all horror movies like this are murder mysteries; Who’s trying to kill everyone? But 213 Bones looks more like a detective mystery.

The movie stars Colin Egglesfield, Dean Cameron, Luna Fujimoto, Liam Woodrum, Sarah Brooks, Scott Peat, Francesca Barker McCormick, and Simone Lockhart. Jeffrey Primm is the writer and director, with Dominic Arcelin co-writing. The story is:

College students are brutally murdered by a gruesomely masked attacker. It is left to Sherriff Bracco, Laurie the County Coroner and their teacher, Kelly, to find out who the real bone crunching murderer is.

The rest is from the press release. 213 Bones is a horror tale of overwhelming scares, starring Luna Fujimoto (Blade of the 47 Ronin), Hunter Nance (Beyond The Rush), Colin Egglesfield (All My Children, The Client List), Francesca Barker McCormick (SinFull: Second Chance) & Liam Woodrum (Geek Girl).

The film follows a group of anthropology students as they discover that studying the past can be deadly in this slick, smart whodunnit horror. When they begin finding human bones and personal property scattered around their campus, it becomes clear that a gruesomely masked maniac is brutally targeting them. Late-night study sessions turn into a frantic race to solve the attacker’s identity before they all end up as a textbook homicide case.

It’s left to Sheriff Bracco, Laurie, the County Coroner and their teacher, Kelly, to help find out who the real bone-crunching assassin is. Before another innocent becomes the next victim.

213 Bones is set to the incredible music of the 90s, with Seattle icons Soundgarden & Mudhoney headlining this legendary soundtrack. However, that’s just the beginning; the soundtrack also features iconic tracks from Duran Duran, Bananarama, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Meat Puppets and more!

213 Bones will have its UK premiere at FrightFest on the 24th of August.
