We talked about the indie movie Time Travel is Dangerous a while ago. The trailer looked like fun, and I was able to review it. I gave it a solid 4 out of 5 stars, because it was quirky and fun.
Time Travel is Dangerous stars Ruth Syratt, Megan Stevenson, Sophie Thompson, Stephen Fry, Brian Blessed, Mark Heap, Jane Horrocks, Laura Aikman, Guy Henry, Tony Way, Brian Bovell, Kiell Smith-Byone and Jonny Vegas. The story:
Best friends Ruth and Megan run a vintage shop in Muswell Hill. Stumbling across a time machine, they embark on trips to the past to stock their shop with no idea of the irreparable damage they’re causing to the fabric of the universe.
I only saw it once, but I still fondly remember it, which is always a good sign. Time Travel is Dangerous is a mocumentary at first, but the third act goes a little nuts, all in a good way.

We had a press release to say that the movie is going to be released on digital.
Following a successful theatrical run earlier this year, Time Travel Is Dangerous has established itself as quintessential British cinema, earning critical acclaim for its unique blend of humour and science fiction.
Writer & Director Chris Reading (Alien: Containment) has teamed up with co-writers the Shakespeare Sisters (Soundtrack to Sixteen). They mix witty dialogue, quirky characters and a touch of the absurd with a heartwarming core that will have fans coming back to watch again and again.
Celebrated for its originality, Time Travel Is Dangerous has captivated audiences and critics alike. SciFi Now described the film as “endearing, surreal, and funny”. While MovieJawn called it “a hilarious, exciting, nerve-wracking adventure that made me question my beliefs about what a sci-fi movie is supposed to be.”
Time Travel is Dangerous will be on digital on the 29th of September, and it’s worth checking out.
