It’s Friday, the start of the weekend. What’s better than watching a movie or seven? Well, that depends on the movie, really. You’ve probably got something lined up to watch, but you’re not sure about it.
Never fear, loyal Outposter, we have some wonderful suggestions for you for this weekend. From the classics to new movies, we have suggestions aplenty.
- Octopussy – Movie – One of the peak ‘camp’ Roger Moore Bond’s.
- Ghostbusters – Movie – The original and still classic.
- The Limey – Movie – In honour of the late Terrance Stamp and a brilliant movie.
- Risky Business – Movie – Tom Cruise, pre-fame, dancing in his underwear.
- Row – Indie Movie – Not a bad little movie, see our review.
- Not Another Teen Movie – Movie – Stupid fun, with boobs.
- Night Always Comes – Movie – With Venessa Kirby, new movie and very well done.
- Big Trouble in Little China – Movie – ‘It’s all in the wrist’.

- Power of Greyskull – Documentary – An interesting look into He-Man.
- Alien – Movie – The original and what a movie!
- Shrouds – Movie – New Cronenberg, good movie, with no real ending.
- The Guyver – Movie – 80s ‘kids’ movie, that was great fun.
- Mission Impossible: Final Reckoning – Movie – The end of Ethan Hunt, for now.
- Hyper Normalisation – Documentary – This is on the BBC iPlayer, and it’s a fascinating insight into today’s media and misinformation.
- Phantasm – Movie – Another classic that spawned a million sequels.
- Tape – Movie – The Asian remake and a really underrated movie.
- Jurassic World – Movie – The first of the sequels. Stark found he liked it more on a re-watch with his kids.
- Silent Hill – Movie – Far from perfect, but an underrated game-to-movie adaption.
So, there are some weekend movies for you. What are you watching?
