The full trailer for Nuremberg has been released by Sony Classics. The movie is based on Jack El-Hai’s novel The Nazi and the Psychiatrist and stars Rami Malek as a psychiatrist who interviews Nazi prisoners to determine whether they are fit to stand trial.
He soon becomes locked in a dramatic psychological duel with Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe), as Göring prepares for his trial, where he will face unyielding chief prosecutor, Robert H. Jackson (Michael Shannon) who seeks to ensure the Nazi regime answers for the unveiled horrors of the Holocaust in the wake of World War II.

Göring was a Nazi politician, aviator, and military leader. He was one of the most powerful figures in the Nazi Party, which controlled Germany from 1933 to 1945. He also served as Oberbefehlshaber der Luftwaffe (Supreme Commander of the Air Force), a position he held until the final days of the regime.
He was born in Rosenheim, Bavaria and, as a veteran World War I fighter pilot ace, Göring was a recipient of the Pour le Mérite.
Nuremberg was written and directed by Zodiac and The Amazing Spider-Man writer James Vanderbilt. Richard E. Grant, Colin Hanks, Leo Woodall, John Slattery, Lotte Verbeek, Mark O’Brien, Wrenn Schmidt, and Andreas Pietschmann co-star.
Nuremberg opens in cinemas on November 7th, and may find itself in award consideration.
