Primate gives us what we’ve all been waiting for…!MONKEY HORROR!
Oh sure, Nope, gave us a glimpse of !MONKEY HORROR!, but we haven’t really gotten a full dose since the likes of Monkey Shines, Shakma and Link. I reviewed Link here, but it appears to have been lost in the great LMO Apocalypse spoken of by the History Men, when much knowledge was lost. Maybe I will bring it back some day. For now…we have Primate.
Primate = !MONKEY HORROR!
Primate is about a chimpanzee pet that catches rabies and turns on its human owners. It can also “speak” through a tablet. Shades of Cujo and Congo there. The film stars a smattering of final girls types vying to be the official final girl. It was written and directed by Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down).
