Another Monday, another start to the weekend; it’s as inevitable as Thanos. You try to hide, you try to ignore it, but Monday is here, and we have to face it. At least we can face it together, a united front of Outposters. At the very least, we can put the weaker members at the front of the battle, while the strong run away and hide.
As with all Mondays, we have some amusing memes for you, but first, let’s have a Monday Moan. What did you see this weekend that you need to complain about?
While channel surfing, I stumbled across Solo: A Star Wars Story. I thought I would give another chance, but man, was I still right about this movie. It’s just pure content, nothing more; there was no love of the character, no love of the original story. It was just about destroying the myth that was one of the coolest characters in cinema.
The ‘myth’ of Han Solo is what makes him so cool. He starts off as a scoundrel, someone who’s happy to SHOOT FIRST! But over the course of the original Star Wars movies, he grows as a character and helps save the day. Solo just seemed to show you how he ended up giving Chewbacca the nickname, Chewie. #genius
