I’m not saying I’m old, but I can remember when I used to look forward to a James Gunn movie without all the social commentary. Take Slither, for example, I have fond memories of it.
It’s been 20 years since Slither first arrived, and to celebrate its 20th anniversary, the movie is getting a special edition 4k steelbook.
Slither stars Nathan Fillion, Elizabeth Banks, Michael Rooker, Dan Thompson, Gregg Henry, Xantha Radley, and Haig Sutherland. James Gunn wrote and directed. The story:
A small town is taken over by an alien plague, turning residents into zombies and all forms of mutant monsters.
I haven’t seen it in a long time, but I remember having fun with it. With the 20th anniversary taking place, there will be a limited cinema re-release in April.
