Something For The Weekend

Friday is the best day of the week, it’s the start of the weekend, and we can chill out! Nothing but a few beers, watching TV and ignoring the family.

As always, the Last Movie Outpost has some movie suggestions for you.

  • American Pie – Movie – The first one, and it’s still funny, although dated now, as the modern generation isn’t into sex anymore.
  • The RIP – Movie – I think I mentioned this one, but a solid thriller with Affleck and Damon.
  • McLaren – TV Docu – The story of Roger Donaldson, a docu-drama about the racing legend.
  • Hamnet – Movie – The story of Shakespeare and stuff, see our review.
  • F1 The Movie – Movie – A second watch and still solid entertainment.
  • Rental Family – Movie – Brendan Fraser is a pretend dad in Japan, again, see our review.
  • Vertigo – Movie – A classic from Hitchcock, and still a great thriller.
  • Deadly Bees (1966) – Movie – A British movie and bloody awful, in a wonderful way, cheesy fun.
  • The Monster Club – Movie – A hidden gem of a horror anthology movie, with Vincent Price. I saw it as a kid and still love it today; some of the horror is still creepy.

  • The Good, The Bad and The Ugly – Movie – Classic Spaghetti Western, and still an amazing movie to watch.
  • Baffled! (1973) – TV Movie – This was really weird; it was a TV movie with Leonard Nimoy as a psychic racing driver.
  • Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow – Movie – I love this movie, and I wish there were more like it.

There you go, that’ll keep you going over the weekend. What are you planning on watching?
