About That AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Trailer

There are thousands of trailers all over the internet that claim to be the real Avengers: Doomsday trailer from CinemaCon. They are not. They are almost exclusively AI slop, mostly from Indian engagement farms and the usual suspects.

The real trailer has leaked out in a couple of places, but as you would expect from the uber-overlords and Disney, their lawyers are closing them down right quick! So, for now, we will just have to make do with what we do know about the trailer, as told by those who were there. We weren’t there; we don’t get invited. We are not on the list because, apparently, Boba Phil’s front room is “not a real cinema”.

Yeah, well, his popcorn isn’t on a 9,000% mark-up either! How do you like them apples?

Somebody who was there was Marvel Studios’ supremo Kevin Feige, alongside directors Joe and Anthony Russo, and the returning Robert Downey Jr. to show off Avengers: Doomsday as the closing title of Disney’s massive panel.

Dad’s got their High School band back together.

They confirmed that they ain’t moving, and Dunesday is on! December 18th will see this and Dune: Part Three released together.

Disney also confirmed that the idiotically special brains that created “lightning lanes” and other Disney-specific nonsense that means you need a Master’s in military planning from West Point to enjoy a day out at one of their theme parks have been at it again.

Despite Dune: Part 3 booking out all the IMAX screens, Disney has “created a brand” called InfinityVision to help fans easily find and book premium format screens.  Therefore, creating a complication around a problem that didn’t exist. So very Disney.

The presentation included footage that included Thor fighting Doctor Doom, who stops Stormbreaker with just his index finger. The footage confirmed that Doom has an accent.

Cassie Lang featured, as did Patrick Stewart’s Professor X. Mystique imitates Yelena at one point, and for some reason, Shang-Chi and Gambit are fighting. Thor meets with The Fantastic Four and the Thunderbolts in the Avengers Tower, and tells them:

“I fought with many warriors in my time. They were far stronger than all of us put together, they died. They died facing enemies and threats that scared me far less than this one. Everything they sacrificed for will be for nothing if we do not stand together. If you return, you will return as brothers and sisters.”

In another scene, Professor X declares:

“Something’s coming, something we may not be able to deter. Before this day is done, we will be faced with an unthinkable decision.”

One scene has Captain America handling Mjolnir again. The panel also confirmed that Avengers: Endgame is returning to cinemas this September with deleted scenes and “other surprises” included.
