William Gibson’s ground-breaking sci-fi novel Neuromancer is basically considered the Daddy of cyberpunk stories. The book is held up by fans as the first to tackle cyberspace, virtual reality, artificial intelligence and technology at the heart of human existence.

An adaptation has been a long time coming, and now Apple TV has taken the plunge. The trailer was released this past weekend as part of their panel at Comic Con.

The series will follow a damaged but expert super-hacker named Case (Callum Turner), who is thrust into a web of digital espionage and high-stakes crime.

He is joined by his partner Molly, an assassin with mirrored eyes, and they aim to pull off a heist on a corporate dynasty with untold secrets.

Joseph Lee, Mark Strong, Cleménce Poésy, Peter Sarsgaard, Emma Laird, Dane DeHaan, André De Shields, Max Irons, and Marc Menchaca co-star.

Graham Roland (Jack Ryan) serves as showrunner, with JD Dillard (Devotion) directing the pilot.

Gibson, Zack Hayden, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Matt Thunell, Drake, Adel ‘Future’ Nur, and Jason Shrier are executive producers.

Neuromancer will start rolling out on Apple TV from kick off on the streamer on January 22nd 2027.
