Ahh, Friday again at last, the start of the weekend. Hopefully you can get in some movies or TV and forget the world outside. Let’s face it, leaving the house is dangerous; staying in and watching movies is good for you. It’s like the Last Movie Outpost just saved your life!
However, you need some suggestions on what to watch this weekend. So, here is a random list; there’s bound to be something on here.
- Dragonslayer – Movie – Still an 80s classic.
- Spookies – Movie – Another 80s horror that slipped under the radar, but stupidly entertaining.
- Biggles: Adventures in Time – Movie – Yet another classic from the 80s that’s jolly good fun, old bean.
- King Kong – Movie – The 76 version, with the stunning Jessica Lange in it.
- Thirteen Lives – Movie – Based on the true story of that football team stuck in a cave.
- The Keep – Movie – A brilliant movie that was butchered by the producers and sadly failed. We need a director’s cut!
- Nightmare on Elm Street – Movie – The original and still a great watch.
- Marathon Man – Movie – “Is it safe?”

- xXx – Movie – The action movie with Vin Diesel and stupidly good fun, with some great practical action.
- Sisu – Movie – A man who doesn’t say much, but kicks ass.
- Monster Summer – Movie – A kids movie with Mel Gibson, not great, but Mel was fun to watch.
- Vemon – Movie – The first one starring Tom Hardy; kind of forgettable.
- Faces of Death – Movie – The new version, and just terrible; stay well away.
- John Wick – Movie – The first one, but this time the dog lives, and hundreds of people don’t get killed.
- I Origins – Movie – An underrated movie with an interesting premise.
There you go, that’s some awesome suggestions for the weekend. Are you going to see Spider-Man? What are you watching this weekend?
