Something For The Weekend

It’s another weekend, another start to the weekend. There’s a food festival going on near me, with food from around the world, with interesting flavours, tastes and palettes. Although it’s over a 10-minute walk away, I might just stay in and watch movies for the weekend.

Of course, we’ll all need something to watch, so here is a list of movies.

  • Greenland: Migration – Movie – Sequel that wasn’t really needed.
  • Citadel: Season 2 – TV series – According to Stark, it’s good fun and has Matt Berry.
  • Balls Up – Movie – New one with Mark Wahlberg, and pretty funny; back to the days of funny comedies.
  • Hot Tub Machine – Movie – Again, old-school funny, in a hot tub.
  • Citizen Vigilante – Movie – Could have been a game changer, but kind of came and went.
  • Galaxy Quest – Movie – This is still a brilliant comedy, and a better Star Trek than modern Star Trek.

  • Mando and Grogu – Movie – A good episode from season 4, but not a cinema movie.
  • Point Blank – Movie – I saw this, then Hawk watched it, we both loved it.
  • The Blues Brothers – Movie – I love this movie, some top quality comedy.
  • The Firm – Movie – Early Tom Cruise movie, and a good thriller.
  • I Love Boosters – Movie – I had to look this up to remind myself I’d seen it. It was terrible.
  • Howard’s Way – TV series – Guess who watched this? We’re taking his TV remote control away.
  • Gentlemen – TV series – This was the first season, in preparation for the second, which is now streaming.
  • Ian Fleming and the Curse of James Bond – Docu – On Sky, and very interesting.

There you go, that’s your weekend sorted. What are you watching?
